Long-time patrons of the Brentwood community’s Dynamic Barber Shop will have seen a new face running the business. Sam Elsaghir took over the shop in April 2014 and has been managing the establishment singlehandedly since.
For Sam, owning a barbershop has been a lifelong dream. He began working in the industry when he was 15 years old. For three years he swept floors and learned the barbering trade, then he began cutting hair and trimming beards.
“My dad told me you have two choices: you go to school or you learn a trade,” he remembers. Sam dabbled in a handful of trades before discovering his passion for barbering. “I like talking to customers, and I enjoy cutting hair. I’m always learning, and hopefully I’ll never lose interest.”
Besides cutting hair, Dynamic Barber Shop offers a range of services and products for men, including beard trimming, straight razor shaves, shampooing, colours and highlights. The shop also carries a multitude of hair care products.
