Brenda Moore, owner of Great Lengths Hair Studio is one such professional. She has been working with hair since before her 16th birthday and shows no signs of slowing down.
“I became a Master Stylist when I was 26 and I’ve owned large salons and small,” Brenda says. “I’ve been a professional hairstylist since the early '80s. Hair is what I do. It's what I love.” Despite her considerable experience, Brenda is one of the best kept secrets in Calgary’s hair salon industry. “I find clients by referral and through my website,” Brenda says. “Then we set up a consultation to make sure that I can do for them what I do best.”
