    Long story short. Bought an engagement ring, put my girlfriends info on the warranty, asked the store manager Elizabeth how important it was not to call her until I had called them and said it was ok. 2 weeks later they called about some promotion on the ring I had bought, luckily I had answered the phone, reminded them not to call her, but a month later they called, ruined our engagement, had no sympathy for what happened, refused to make it right, and refused to return it. Don't shop here!

    Abysmal customer service.

    Requested a staff member to follow up with me regarding an additional purchase - more than a month passed and no response. Spoke to the manager and he promised to followup and get back to me within 2 business days ... that was weeks ago. Congrats - you lost my business and I'm here to tell others of the type of service you provide. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

    Terrible

    - I went to the Mappins location at Market Mall in Calgary, AB. - I was noticed at the counter but still had to wait 5 minutes for the attendants to finish their conversation before they came over to speak with me. I was looking to inquire about getting my engagement ring re-sized and appraised and was very excited to do so. - The woman addressing my questions took my ring (I assumed this was to look at the size), put it on her left ring finger and then went about looking for a sizing ring for me to try on. I found this to be extremely unprofessional and insensitive! - I then asked about getting my ring appraised, to which a gentleman came over to help on this matter. The two attendants wondered why my new ring didn’t have this already and I told them the ring was purchased at Costco, which is a location that doesn’t provide an appraisal that can be used for insurance purposes. They scoffed and commented about this sort of place not being able to provide any service. Again, I was insulted by this treatment. - I asked for my engagement ring back from the female attendant (can’t believe I even had to ask but she was still wearing it!)… and then said I had shopping to do so I could take my business elsewhere. - I will never recommend this jeweler and I will not shop here again.
