When owner Sonny Phongsa took over Teasers Hair Design in 2003, she decided to totally revamp the decade-old salon and bring in talented hairstylists to cater to her loyal clientele. “I had to build it again, from the ground up,” Sonny recalls. Along with the physical renovations that changed the way the salon looked, Sonny also remodelled its services. “This is what I’ve always wanted to do,” Sonny says, “to help bring out the beauty in people. So I was happy to put in the extra effort to make the place special.”
Teasers Hair Design offers haircuts, hair styling and hair colouring to both women and men. “There are seven hair stylists on board who are all accomplished in what they do,” says Sonny. Experienced stylists can offer clients a variety of different hairstyling options and make informed suggestions as to what they think will look best.
