“The neighbourhood for us is key and is a major consideration for our guests in deciding where to stay,” says Jane Jess, Director of Demand and Reputation Management for the hotel division of Westcorp, which owns the Varscona Hotel on Whyte. “Some of the nighttime entertainment, daytime entertainment, the shops and the boutiques are really part of who we are. It’s something we like to talk about as often as we can.”
