Incredible Team at 50th Street

I started with Dr Plotsky downtown and followed him when he came to north Edmonton. The entire family started going to Drs. Plotsky and Evans. The entire team on 50th Street has treated us like family. Dr. Evans has been looking after our eyes for several years and while we've gone through changes like obtaining bifocals, getting rid of cataracts, and recently a tear in my retina. From Dr. Evans and associate Optometrists to Mona the receptionist to Johanna they have treated us well over 30 y

I visited VEC by chance. They were fabulous, doctors knowledable and willing to answer any questions. The staff strives for a great patient experience and they are the best at it! I found great funky frames and almost 2 years later still get compliments on them. Sent family there and they all said the same. Thanks folks! Ronnie

I have been going to the office on 50th Street for many years. I am currently a patient of Dr. Atwood's and I couldn't ask for better care. He is kind and compassionate and always has time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. All of the staff are very friendly and always helpful. I would definitely recommend them as your eye care specialists.

Joanna, Mona and Dr. Atwell are all very personable and professional whenever I go into for eye doctor appointment or for adjustments on my glasses. I am so comfortable with them because they know my eyes and how I like my glasses to fit on my face. They are very convenient for me too. Thank you very much! :)

Good Visit

I had my eyes examined there after the optomotrist had checked my grandfathers eyes and saved his vision from a retinal detachment and sent him to the hospital. The check in person was quite pleasant. The doctor checked my eyes and prescribed my first glasses that I can see awesome down the road with. The eyeglass lady helped me pick some sturdy glasses that have held up well for me. Would reccommend this place.

Bad Customer Service

I went to the eye centre few times. I spent $90 for eye exam and $700 for a new pair of glasses. The doctors are nice. However, the staffs are not so friendly. I was five mintues late for my appointment. When I walked in, the staff at the front desk said to me, "you are late!" She was not saying it in a friendly way. Lady, that is not an appropriate way to talk to the customer. When I finished my eye exam, the same staff was writing down the contact lens' prices on a piece of paper for me. And then I said to her, "well, I think I will order my contact lens later." She did not respond and threw that piece of paper in the garbage can right a way. She obviously has some bad attitudes. What kind of customer service is she demonstrating? I regret to spend my money in that shop. I will not go there again.
