My daughter purchased a frame and lenses at Hakim 9 months ago. She wanted the coated lenses which they were happy to charge her for. Her glasses stay on her face or in the case at all times. The Sherwood park branch treated her very well while selling her the glasses and collecting their money. Now the coating is cracking on both lenses. She went back and reasonably asked what they could do for her. They treated her like she was abusing her glasses and then said that they would only give her 50% off the purchase of new lenses. She has phoned head office and upon leaving her name and phone number, was called two days later saying the same thing. 50% off the purchase of new lenses. There was no offer to replace faulty lens coatings or any blame taken by the company themselves. If I can persuade only ONE person not to buy their glasses there, I will be happy. Businesses should stand behind their product especially when made on site and a national name to protect.
