Well, even though I don't like sushi (which a lot of people don't, which prevents them from trying Japanese food) I love japanese food very much. Matsuya House really is a great place to go because of that. I got a bento box filled with Tempura, Teriyaki chicken and beef, and salad with rice and miso soup. The food was great! I was very pleased with the price- under 15 dollars for a bento box and a cup of tea. The service however wasn't fantastic. The waitress was quite rude and didn't always acknowledge me. But the food came quick and the restaurant is very nicely lit and decorated. I definately reccomend going here even if you're not into sushi.

I have been to this restaurant several times and...

I have been to this restaurant several times and compared it to the other sushi restaurants in Sherwood Park. Matsuya is the best by a long shot! The service is great, portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. When the maki rolls are too big to be called "bite-sized" you can nibble at them and they don't fall apart like at other places. I highly recommend Matsuya!
