The Home Depot St John's Store

Place is ok if you know exactly what you need to get. As soon as you have questions in store, try to call the store with an inquiry, or require any assistance that a little out of the ordinary, that’s when you can really see the true jungle that’s being managed at the St. John’s Home Depot. If Kent carried all the same product, I’d never walk through the HD doors again. Management subpar, employees subpar.

While I do enjoy shopping in the store and have nothing bad to say about the in-person experience, I will caution people against buying plants online and having them delivered. I ordered 12 different plants, only 5 survived the delivery trip. The rest were smashed and depotted inside the packing container. Buy your plants in person.

Finding employees is next to impossible. Calling the store gets you NOWHERE. They often tell customers inaccurate information just to pass the onus of serving you on to some other department or employee. Stock is regularly depleted, and irregularly re-stocked.

Nothing more patronizing than hearing a recording repeat "your call is very important to us..... Please remain on the line ..." while you are on hold for over 15 minutes and still have not spoken to a live person....
