We go to this restaurant for lunch cos they have a great deal. You get one spring roll and spicy soup as appetizer. I find the soup a little too spicy to my taste, but it's still really tasty. I love their curry and pad thai. Their food is always fresh. I also like the fact that the food comes really quick and the waiters/waitresses are always around checking customers how they are doing. I think this is very nice especially when you don't have much time (like lunch break) and that's really what you want. We would definitely go back there again and try some new stuff.
The service - at lunch anyway - is the problem here. Maitre de actually came and started dusting and moving a chair while we were finishing our meal. "Here's your hat, what's your hurry." Apart from that, the dishes are all authentic and distinct in flavours. Super vegetable side dish, great spring rolls, spicy soup. Portions small by usual N.A. standards, if it matters to you. With these meals so eminently superior to most roadhouse concoctions, it shouldn't.
Food is consistantly good.I have visited the dining room on a number of occasions as well as multiple take out. Service is friendly, but often slow as the place often packs out and take business is brisk. It seems that they are understaffed during peak periods. I have waited over an hour for take out twice.
