School time missed - no good reason

I called for my daughter's first appointment. I was asked if I had insurance, what kind, and the insurer details. I did not have them on hand and offered to bring it to the appt. A few days later they called at work for the insurer info. I did not have time. I dropped in a few days prior to the appt to give the insurer info of both parents. The day of the appt my daughter was taken out of school early. The dentist refused her because Dad didn't have the insurer info immediately available!!!
