Our server Chris was spectacular. Food and atmosphere as great!

We are locals who stayed at the Marriott during sleep cheap week. We were looking for a non franchise restaurant, not anywhere near Clifton Hill. It was our first time coming to MIck and Angelo's. It was busy, but we were seated quickly. The waitress brought our drinks quickly and was friendly. My girlfriend orderered a fajita for about $15. It was huge and was one of those make it yourself plattered. She was disappointed they did not bring her guacamole sauce with it. I had pizza. There was a large pizza special for $11.50 and with a couple of toppings came to $17.50. It was great. I enjoy pizza and I really l liked the pizza. I found the crust on the thinner side (which I prefer) and easy to cut. We both could have just shared one of those items, so two people could share an order and eat quite cheaply. I took half the pizza home and she took at least half the fajita mixture. The waitress was very attentive. Considering a fairly inexpensive menu, I thought the decor and service was great. We'll definitely go there again.

As a niagara resident and regular of this place, Chicken ceasar salad, lg. was far too soggy. Croutons were tasteless and not enough bacon. Didn't ask if I wanted parm. cheese on it. They used to. I was shocked at how lousy it was. It was $13.49 or so and was tasteless. Prices for my guests were much higher than before and not really better food. Should watch out and please people or word gets around fast and less traffic will come your way!!!!!!

great place

Great Italian restaurant to enjoy with the family. I have been going there since I was a kid. Prices are great for good quality food with exceptional customer service. Great place for any special occasion such as birthdays, communions, baptisms, etc. They have a wide variety of different sorts of Italian food such as pizzas, calzones, pastas etc. Enjoy dinner while watching sports games on flat screen T.V’s all over the restaurant. Large patio for those warm summer days when you want to eat outside. Mick & Angelo’s is in a great location close to malls and numerous attractions for tourists. If you’re looking for good quality food for a average price this is the place to eat. Overall it is the best restaurant in Niagara Falls.

I agree with the person who posted just before me. Locals both reocmmend and eat at this place and considering this is Niagara Falls that's very important. I myself ate there after hearing locals recommend this place and was not disappointed. The pasta portions are massive and I had to take half of it home. (My friend ate the pizza and he didn't seem as satisfied.) I recommend this place as reliable, not-cookie-cutter place to go to when in Niagara Falls. Considering all the tourist traps and chains here, trust me, you can do far far worse.

Best Buffalo Wings&Calzones ever!!

I purchased a WagJag offer($20.00 for 40.00 of food). My fiance and I went there ordered some buffalo wings, calzone, some drinks and watched Football game on one of their many T.V's. Our waitress was awesome and right on top of everything. They seen it was just us and we mentioned the kids were with a sitter for "date night" they made sure to sit us in an adult area with less children(which was really nice) Overall we spent more than our coupons were worth but the wings were huge and amazing, it was our first time trying buffalo style wings and now we go back at least once a month!! Thanks Mick and Angelo's for making date night seem like a date night without a hundred other peoples kids screaming all around us!

Don't listen to bad reviews...best restaurant ever! We are locals and go al the time, the staff and food are awesome! Sauce and ravioli's are to die for!

Satisfied a large group on little notice

Visited here in March 2011. Group of 24 with only 15 minutes notice. Service was fast and organized. Food arrived hot and arrived together. Food was better than average pub grub and the bill was reasonable. I will return again.

Its alright

Since MAN VS FOOD on OLN came to this place we wanted to come too. We wanted to go out on our anniversary so we went to this place, it was alright I guess. We got seated very fast by a really nice server, the woman knew what she was doing. The server asked what we would like to drink so we ordered and came back quickly and we hmmmed and hawwwed about what to have. We decided. We waited about 45 minutes for our food which was a little bit much for waiting we got it, it was good although my bf forgot to tell them to take off the peppers so he took them off himself. We ate and she came by and checked on us and see if everything was okay. I ordered the apple crumble dessert, kind of pricey. but oh well it was good, came out hot and fresh. The place was sort of cold and you cant see much around like not really an open concept. The view of Lundys was okay.

This was the absolute worst pizza I have ever had. Tough pizza dough was impossible to cut through. Not much cheese and dried mushrooms. Service was awful. She wore dark sunglasses and never smiled or spoke. I shall not return.

When arrived restaurant was almost empty but the genius hostess decided that we would stand there for literally 6 minutes to wait for this large group to leave, Eventualy we got bored and pushed our way through and seated ourselves. So that was ridiculous then ordered nachos and some bread thing, they managed to burn both some how. Then was insane and returned again as they advertised $4 appetizers, turns out they have a seperate menu for that occasion, they were all different, small portions and tasted like asphalt, check that greasy asphalt. Oh and also took 40 mins for 3 apps, group behind us i overheard complaining that they had waited an hour for their entree, Soooo do not go there due to awful food, not being able to cook said awful food, terrible wait times, incompetent staff and fake $4 appetizers.

I'm a local and growing up was always a fan of Mick & Angelos! The food was always decent(not spectacular but always good). The problem is that it seems as though greed took over and the quality has dropped a bit! The last time i visited(and i will never go back) the prices were outta this world. I mean bad for what ur getting....I would not recommend this restaurant! There are plenty of other great local bars and restaurants that have much better pricing and a more hospitable atmosphere! Sorry micks i think u did it to yourselves.....

Huge Disappointment!

I remember bringing my family to Mick n Angelo's before and enjoying the food and atmosphere. Things have changed. The food took forever, came out cold and disgusting. The sauce tasted like it came out of a can. Even the atmosphere is much less inviting as it used to be. I did feel bad for the server, who was friendly enough but seemed to be used to guest complaints. I will never bring my family there again.

The best nachos ever!

I went with my boyfriend who ordered the 10 oz steak, however I ordered the nachos (which is a huge, huge platter). I've been coming to this restaurant for years just for their nachos which are soooo amazing! He said the steak was very good and flavorful. The nachos were amazing as usual. Only downside was the waitress was a bit slow with service. Other than that, great!

We requested the salad first, but it arrived at almost the same time as the pizza. The salad was a good size, but it was very short on the vegetables such as tomatoes. The server did not return to the table to check if we would like more coffee, and we had to request it. The pizza was alright, but forgettable. I would also have liked a paper serviette instead of just a cloth that the utensils come wrapped in. It would not be accurate to describe the food as cheap here. There were a fair number of young children and the bar noise is also present - this did not bother me, but it might for those who don't want the noise factor.

we had a server, that in my opinion was the most rude person i have ever met, in my opinion there is no room for snarky remarks about your co-workers and managment when you work in the restaurant business, you should be greatfull that you have a job for theese people hiring you, and supplying you with the opportunity to make money, Sorry about your luck!! and when you call your co-workers "incompitant losers " you should probably back up your mouth with proper service!!!

We have been going to this restaurant for years with no issues - and even recommended it to friends and family - who also loved it. I don't know what is going on, but this place used to be fabulous. We asked for chicken wings to START - they arrived 5 seconds before our meals. We asked for NO ONIONS on the burger - they put sauteed onions on it. We sent it back and they just picked them off (not very well - as 2 small onions were discovered). I asked for NO TOMATOES on my salad and asked if it was possible to switch the black olives (which I hate) to green ones, and I was assured that it was no problem. My salad arrived with tomatoes and black olives. We visit the Falls quite often and will have to look for a new place to eat now.

We will never visit this restaurant again. I do not need a dose of rudeness when I am out for lunch. It is not surprising that they have trouble attracting locals during 'off-tourist' times.
