We have been going here for over 10 years and...

We have been going here for over 10 years and this is one of our favorites in the GTA. Great food and the staff treats us like family. The one comment about a meal with beer being over $150.00 is strange - we have rarely paid over that amount at this restaurant for a full meal and wine. We recommend this place highly!

One of our favorites in the GTA. Easily compares to the best in T.O. Great food but menu getting a bit old with minimal changes over the past 5 years - especially the deserts. Would not be suitable to the beer drinking keg crowd who'd best stay where they are. Heard that the previous owner is pulling a fast one and reclaiming the premises and that the present management will be re-locating. Well worth following as the present owner is also the chef. Again, one of our favorites thats provided for a wealth of excellent dinning.

Holy moly, this place is expensive for what you...

Holy moly, this place is expensive for what you get. Dinner for 2 with one beer each came out to almost $150. When I spend this kind of money on dinner I don't want to look around and feel like i've just traveled back in time to 1972. Dark wood, dusty old fixtures, yellow light bulbs, model ships and other kitch everywhere. Was Kojak filmed in here?
