This place is the best for ice cream and desserts, i love this place. i think it is better than all of the other restaurants, I know the owner he is so nice and his family is too. You should go there, because this is the BEST DESSERTS place in ontario.!!!! out of 10 i give it a 11.
I've been to Cafe Demetre a couple of times (not just the Eglinton Location, there's one on the Danforth, and in North York as well). The food is always delicous, the brunch menue is tasty, but the desserts are amazing. They're reasonably priced, large portioned, and the cakes/crepes/waffles are always fresh. The Eglinton location was absolutly FANTASTIC for service. hahaha, I have trouble choosing what to order sometimes and the waiter was rediculously nice in helping me decide (including a trip to the front of the store to go through some of the cakes that weren't on the menue). :-D The atmosphere is definitly busy, but it's not overwhelming at all...mmmmm....
Possibly one of the best homemade ice-cream you'll find in the city. The atmosphere is warm, if slightly busy. In the warmer weather, you'll appreciate dining on the patio.
