Today i had the worst experience ever!!! I have ordered from this establishment for many years and today I put in an order worth $55. We picked up the order and when we got home we found we were missing the egg rolls. We understand mistakes happen so we were going to tell them to credit the bill on the next order.... In stead, we were told we did receive them, which we did not, and then they proceeded to argue with me for the next 10 minutes, saying there girls would never make a mistake.

Ordered take out (Sunday). Ordering was easy ~ the man taking my order was very friendly. We had it delivered in a very reasonable time - 30mins. Delivery was extra $$ but a fair rate. Food was hot, ingredients were fresh and delicious! Every dish was cooked perfectly. Excellent meal.

We came here to just try it out because our neighbors highly recommended it. We were surprised to see the variety of foods on the menu! It ranges from awesome chinese food to great thai food! My family and I really enjoyed the thai curry! It has a nice kick to it where the dish is sweet, yet salty. My husband really likes spicy foods, so they suggested the lemon grass and he loved it!

Really good food, great for parties with friends and family. The party trays are really convenient. I also really liked how I saved money for purchasing the party tray!

I was going to go to the Chinese restaurant near downtown Kitchener but they were full, so I decided to try here because my friend highly suggested it. Making that change was a really good decision! You can tell the restaurant is family owned and has a really warm feeling when entering. The food is scrumptious, definitely comparable to the one restaurant downtown! Maybe even better! Highly recommend to others!

Excellent spring rolls and chow mein. Excellent service. And the price for my order was excellent too. Best Chinese restaurant in Waterloo. I will be telling all my friends from Toronto. Definitely worth the visit.

Professional service

By far this is the best restaurant for Thai food, and I am a very picky eater myself. If you like spicy food order the Lemon Grass its got a nice kick to it. The place is small but warm feeling.

Great food by kind people!

I am from Toronto and I was dropping off my kids that just recently moved into the campus of Wilfred Laurier. The food is absolutely delicious, I would prefer my kids eating here than any fast food restaurant. The staff was very kind and helped me get to know around town better too!

I can't believe that restaurant. Out of all of the chinese places to eat that has to be one of the most disgusting kitchens I have ever seen. The staff was quite rude to me and my brother as well, the son of the owner calling me inappropriate names behind my back. I personally would not recommend this eatery to anyone and would never go back myself.

Great Food, Great Price

I had the Dinner for 3 and ordered a few of the items on the list. It was nice to be able to select your own dishes for a special price. I also really liked the gentleman on the phone who kindly helped me with some items I was not familiar with.

i used to love their pork and preserved vegetables, because my cousin introduced me to the restaurant. the food is very authentic however i have found another restaurant that's comparable but cost less, which is why i don't go to this one anymore. nonetheless, i have a good impression of this restaurant.

We are regular customers and have always found the food to be good with large portions. The service is very friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Delivery does take awhile and the crispy beef isn't as crispy when we get it, but that's to be expected. It is much better if you can eat in.

Pretty good food at a good price.

I often order take out food from this place. It is a reliable, though unspectacular place for such things as Cantonese chow mein, Singapore noodles, etc. Egg foo yung is also pretty good here. When I say that they are reliable, I mean that I have never experienced overcooking, too much msg, too much oil, etc. They know what they are doing and the price is right.

Best chinese food in KW, no argument. Food is always awesome and they are so nice, particularly the son. Hot and sour soup is the best I have ever had - usually really spicy. Egg rolls and spring rolls are a bit greasy in my opinion but I rarely order them.

I really like chinese food, so I decided to order some while I was at home alone. I don't have a car so I had to get it delivered to me... even though I live five minutes away driving, it was almost ten dollars to have it delivered. The food was okay, but when I was ordering on the phone, the lady barely paid attention to me.

Working next door to the restaurant, I've ordered the 'Combinated Special for One' (as listed above) so many times, and I've never been disappointed with the choice. The food is always great and there is always SO MUCH of it! I don't think I've ever finished it all off in one sitting. The service at University Garden is unbeatable. These people are genuinely nice and want to get to know their customers, whether its your 1st time coming, or your 101st, you won't be disappointed!
