whats not to love about the place ok one thing no bathroom but the food certainly speaks for itself and the meat is fresh. the service exceptional. Unlike it's competition in ajax ( the butchers grill) they treat their customers like family, They have been in business for years and this is the reason why great food great service and integrity from the owners and staff makes this place a landmark. itake my mother and friends at least twice a year to her friends cottage near Perth. it is 2 hours from Niagara almost to the second, and it is at a perfect place to rest and enjoy their fare. Always delicious, and they have the BEST lemonde! Went for a friends party, service was a little slow but it's to be expected when you're with a large group and the place is busy. The music was good, and not too loud so that you can't have a conversation, which I like while I'm out for dinner with friends. I had the Baja Quesadilla(3 friends did as well), the wife got a poutine. It was so good I went back for another one a week later. Good to see a traditional type place with a not so traditional menu. They have everything you'd expect them to (burgers, wings etc..) but they had some great choices that really made me appreciate the variety in their menu. I'm definitely going back again. November 27, 2020 was my first visit to this location. I would like to let the owners know that their location was one of the cleanest and organized store, with well stocked shelves. I have shopped at 4 other locations in Whitby/Ajax area and my shopping experience was very different. The floor was well staffed with friendly and helpful staff and the cashier was very friendly and pleasant. I live in Whitby but will definitely shop at this location again. Lire plus

We order from here regularly, we have only ordered the Thai items a couple of times. WE LOVE THE HAKKA dishes. It is very difficult to find any good hakka restaurants in the area especially oshawa/whitby area. Our regular dishes are the:
-Bombay chicken
-any of the chili or manchurian chicken or beef or shrimp (the shrimp dishes are a little smaller than the chicken or beef )but very tasty.
-pad thai/ hakka special chow mein
We really like the fact that they have come to know us so when we ask for extra spicy it is extra spicy, never been disappointed. If you are into this type of food then it is definately worth a try. We don't eat in because of our kids but the atmosphere seems very pleasant when we have picked up food.

Basic hardworking atmosphere, not white linens tablecloths, food was excellent service was outstanding. Take credit,debit, and cash. Real charpit cooking with the smell that goes along with it. Went with my friend to Crown Pita in Pickering for lunch. My friend has a service dog. On entering, staff, with elevated voices, told us that dogs weren’t allowed. When we tried explaining that the dog was a service dog, they raised their voices further and told us that we couldn’t be there with the dog. Feeling very uncomfortable, we left. Misunderstandings happen, but the staff there centred out my friend and made it clear that they had do desire to dialogue about the situation.Lire plus
This is the best grocery store in the area. The store is well stocked, clean, and well lit. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Online order pickup is extremely easy, they are very open and communicate very well when they need to make substitutions, which is rare.
I shop here for all of my groceries and have never had an issue with earning or redeeming my points.
The parking lot is easily accessible from two entrances and is well maintained even in the winter months.Lire plus

My husband & I celebrated the last day of the year 2012 at Chef Tommy's. It was our first timethere and we wanted to try something we have never ordered. So we ordered the lamb rack and we were not disappointed! The lamb was so so tender and the presentation was just delightful. The atmosphere was very cozy and the staff quite friendly and helpful. My husband had a beer and I a glass of red wine and we pared this with spankonatee (not sure of the spelling but it was flambee cheese). yummy
