This tiny place is right across from the Reverb on Queen. It's open late and great for after-bar food... I did give service a nine only because the line is usually out the door! Hot, Yummy falafel (or donair i think if you like). Just a warning though, this place is TINY and the menu is not that big from what I remember. If there were other categories like atmosphere and stuff I'd have to rate this place poorly. It's pretty much takeout only.

I love Paan and not only I visit this store frequently but also have to have a huge togo order while coming back to USA. We had our community Diwali event this past weekend on Nov 4th at Bombay Palace Banquet Hall Brampton. The hall size and shape is perfect for any event. Beautifully decorated and very well organized. The food was delicious, the housekeeping staff as well as the manager was very humble and easily approachable. They took note of all our requirements and made sure they do a good job. I ordered lunch for 30 of my colleagues (May 2017) and I just wanted to say how pleased and impressed I was with your organization every step of the way. They accommodated the changes I wanted made to my order, they called me to let me know that the order was on its way, the delivery person was friendly and helped me set the food up and finally the food (which there was plenty of) was delicious and hot when it came time to eat. Found this place just driving by. Wanted *Indian* food and took a chance. Was not disappointed, in fact this is our new favourite *Indian* restaurant. The service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was well ... *Indian* :). The food though was amazing - delicious, flavourful, spicy and authentic. Mango Rain is a cozy little restaurant run by a hard working young couple. It is a small restaurant located on 1714 Lakeshore Road West, Mississauga, ON (on a strip mall, south side of Lakeshore). They specialize in authentic Indian and Thai fusion cuisine. Everything is cooked fresh as you order it. They have a small, but good variety of dishes from butter chicken, lamb, vegetarian plates and fantastic naan. Their prices range from $9 (lunch plates) to $16 (dinner plates). They even offer a take-out menu for your convenience. For desserts, they have home-made mango ice cream, topped with cashew nuts that is a must try.

My boyfriend had planned a surprise birthday party at Kamasutra. I showed up at the restaurant thinking I was in for a quiet dinner with him, but he had my friends & family waiting at the restaurant without my knowing. Service & the food was fantastic. Decided to take my grandma out for dinner and thought that the Diana would provide enough variety to keep us all happy (grandma as well as our young children).
We had an earlier reservation, but even as the restaurant got busier, the service was good and attentive.
Our girls decided on the cheesy pasta (kids option). It came super quick and was served at an appropriate temperature for them to dig in immediately. So many restaurants place piping hot food in front of kids. I also ordered a side of steamed broccoli for the girls.
While my kids gobbled it up, my only suggestion is that they work on it a bit. Seemed a little bit like pasta in milk with shredded cheese. But, as I said, my kids gobbled it up.
I had calamari and a greek salad (both appetizers), my husband had the lamb medallions, grandma had the halibut and her partner had the vegetable pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
The Diana offers an amazing variety (greek salad, pasta, steak, curries, etc) and we continue to go there as our default Guelph restaurant. In fact, we will be going back there for breakfast tomorrow morning with more family! Their chai is delicious! :)Lire plus

I luv this place! On a cold winters night there perfect to get delivery! Me and my family cant get enough of the curries i suggest chiken curry or butter chiken, the only thing i would change would have to be the slivers of almonds in the curry, not being a fan of nuts they get kind of soggie but there aren't many soo i dont mind them. I would defenetly go back again! Overall I would give it 4 stars :) plus if u eat in u get these cutsie little licorice-ish rainbow candies! luv it! :PLire plus

Absolutely will come back! .. I drove around to see what kind of restaurants were there and happened to see North of Bombay. Very big place! .. the owner were friendly but let’s get down to the point. The butter chicken on rice is tender and juicy. My mouth is watering thinking about it haha but keep up the good work! We usually do take outs on weekends but went their for lunch on weekday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It didn't look big buffet but wow had lots of varieties to eat and especially fresh nan and tandoori chicken. Not big on Indian desserts too sweet for me. As we walked in the restaurant we were the first ones to arrive noticing the last couple items for the buffet were just coming out. Everything looked and smelt great. Our server was a male and he was very friendly and kind, he explained what was in the buffet very clearly and then we were able to start.
The Empress of India offers 14 items for their lunch buffet, 8 hot items and 6 cold. We were also happy to see they had a very good vegetarian selection. As we were eating we all talked about how much flavour the food had. However the food had a little bit spice to it, but nobody really minded since it was so good! The restaurant filled up after 15-20 minutes, but the server was able to contol it very well.
As we are not locals , We will still return to the Empress of India for it's very fine food.Lire plus
