We went for dinner recently as we live in the area and love the Wooly for its atmosphere, choice of beers on tap etc....I just really wish that the food was better..as I remain quite surprised at the overall 'averageness' of the entrees here. Yes, they use locally grown, organic ingredients...I get and support that..but the portion size and flavour leave me unimpressed. Service is always great...and the beer is plentiful and cold...but I think I'll just start going there for beers and maybe fries (which can be hit and miss)...there are just much better places close by (IMO) to get a better pub meal. I will say that of our three meals...mine was the best..a traditional chicken burger with salad..the house dressing was nice. Based on our experience I would not recommend the Cobb salad (very small portion and was drenched in ranch dressing) or the chicken tenders which were just average.Lire plus

Historic building that is supposedly haunted, real pub feel, good vibe, friendly servers. Has a large and really cool cobble stone court yard patio that feels like you're sitting in the 1800's.
I don't eat here alot but the food is good, wings, nachos and standard pub fare.
The owners Marco and Angelo are class acts and always take the time to personally welcome regular customers back.
Its kinda like Cheers because they always know your name and they are always glad you came.
It gets pretty hopping at night and is a good spot for single guys and gals if you know what I mean ;)Lire plus

We've been a few times and it is always great food, wonderful personal service, and fantastic ambience.
Has the feel of a central european cafe/pub, where they do their own baking. Been for lunch and the food is great, and decently priced for what you get.
Also been for dinner with my wife while going to Rose Theatre, and went back for drinks afterwards. Very comfortable atmosphere, and I'll be heading back regularly.

The service by the wait staff is excellent. The manager and the owner are both excellent people who are the right fit for this establishment. This is a neighbourhood 'pub' where the patrons and the staff are accomodating, friendly and there is a family feel to the pub. My spouse and I are regulars there now and have enjoyed many meals prepared by their cooks. The meals range from appetizers to their many entrees: toasted western sandwich to the sirloin steak done to perfection. Whatever they prepare is done very well. Only once have I had a complaint but there was a new cook on staff. Things are great now. Try this pub out for a meal and a couple of drinks, you will not be disappointed. Have a game of pool or darts while listening to your favourite music on the techically advanced "juke box". It's not the same anymore. "Come on in to a place where everybody knows your name." We've been to Tracks a few times and always know we can get a good meal for a good price. Our absolute favorite is the Beef Dip and Fish & Chips (you actually get two large pieces of fish for a great price!). They've added some better wine choices to their menu and larger wine glasses, home brew is always a good choice. The fries and Caesar are a great choice and large helpings.
Could use a bit of reno in the dining room, but the new owners are doing some good work to attract a broader audience range. Close to Rose Theatre in Brampton, free parking, good food for a good price!Lire plus

I had been to this location of Jack Astor's in the past, but I haven't been in a while. I was thoroughly impressed with this place! We decided to sit outside since it was a nice day. Our server came out right away and gave us our menus. She was kind and helpful when we were making our meal selections. I chose the honey garlic chicken fingers with sweet potato fries. They were very delicious! The chicken fingers came with two types of dips, and the sweet potato fries came in a small dish which was very convenient. I have lived in Dundas, Ontario for most of my life and have visited the Collins Brewhouse many times. I use the term ‘visited’ as if I am visiting someone’s home for the simple reason, each and every member of the Collins Brewhouse staff welcomes visitors’ as if they are family.
It is a quaint pub and restaurant that adds more charm to the town of Dundas. The service is just as incredible as the food they serve. The southwest chicken wrap and chicken wings are super, I would without a doubt recommend these two dishes.
Also, I have attended staff parties in the basement of the Collins Brewhouse. The accommodations that they provide such as; pool tables, a personal served bar, a big screen television, and food served in a buffet self-serve format, provide customers with fun and entertaining memories.
As you can see in my review for the Collins Brewhouse, I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to all age groups. If you like good company, good food and a great atmosphere this is the restaurant to check out!Lire plus

The order bar is at the front door. Lots of warm colours with smiling faces that are always patient and help full. For those that can't make up their minds your not hurried or rushed to make purchases. There are exceptions of course. The atmosphere is roomy, with enough space between tables for privacy.
If your order is not ready at purchase point then the staff will bring it to you with out the feeling that you need to tip again if you did. Great seating with leather couches. Chairs and tables are far enough apart to have reasonably private conversation. The patio is overlooking the Bay. Hope that you like birds. Parking is walking distance or one minute from entrance. I liked that you are left alone, you don't have to be on your game, you can be friendly or not, depending on the person.Lire plus

Williams is essentially an expanded coffee house, that offers food which is edible, but not great. But, that is to be expected, as no one would go here expecting fine dining. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, service is quick and the place seems to be clean. Being right across from McMaster, it is often full of students, many who come to study, and staff doesn't seem to mind.
Williams does have a large variety of dessert offerings, from great cakes to fresh waffles and various icecream desserts. A great place for coffee and dessert!Lire plus

So, good. The food was delicious, though not gastro-pubby, but rather pub grub. It could use new carpeting throughout. The stand out for us was the service. Our server was helpful, knew the menu inside out, and when we asked for some changes to make one of the meals heart healthy they went out of their way to make it happen. We were seated in a quiet corner...easier for my Dad that he didn't have to climb up a step...but there was loud laughter coming from around the corner. Everyone seemed to be greeted by name at the door. Our server was a nice young girl, but everyone paid attention to us, helping to deliver the meal, checking on how we liked our meals. I worked all through college as a waitress, and I am kind of picky about service attitude, and this was wonderful.Lire plus
Great service with very nice waitress. My first time experiencing British pub fare so I didn't know what to expect. Nachos were quite good, and although the Steak & Mushroom pie was nothing like I expected (first time trying a non desert pie), it was still quite tasty. Great atmosphere and quick service.
