Since 1994, owner Denell Falk and her staff have been organizing group and custom tours for nature lovers and adventure seekers. African safaris and tours of the Galapagos Islands are always popular, but the company offers memorable trips to every corner of the globe. “There are so many cool things out there,” Denell says. “Our job is to find the really interesting, unique types of offers.” Customers can choose from trips that incorporate wildlife viewing, cultural attractions and natural phenomena such as solar eclipses.
Civilized Adventures finds the activities that create special memories and takes them beyond the usual combination of hotels and tours. For example, there are better ways to get around Europe than by rental car. “If you come to Europe with us, we’ll rent you a Ferrari, and then we’ll have someone take you around and give you an insider’s view of things,” says Denell. “We’ll even rent a castle for someone!”
