    Amazing service from Gutter Doctor. They replaced the gutters on my house and they did a fantastic job. They were super professional and answered all my questions.     We were very disa...

    We were very disappointed by this contractor and part of the blame was mine. The estimator showed up un-announced and left the estimate in my mailbox. I accepted based on the price but did not notice the color. Believing that the installer would talk to me and discuss details of the job I accepted the bid. The installer showed up one day while I was out and by the time I got home the work was partly completed in the wrong Color. I let it go. I have had to call this co. back three times to fix.

    You agreed in person with the estimator to have the colour you chose. Even the installer recommended otherwise when he arrived and talked with you before he started and you still chose that colour. How can you say it is our fault? It was your choice!

    Squirrels were ge...

    Squirrels were getting into our attic and Gutter Doctor figured out a permanent way to keep them out by installing some flashings. They even matched the colour of the soffit. We are happy with the results.

    I am very happy w...

    I am very happy with the installation of eavestroughs on my house and garage. Jason and Scott were friendly and asked me how I preferred the downspouts directed to make sure they did it the way I wanted. They cleaned up all the old materials well and hauled them away to be recycled. They did fantastic work!

    Steve was quick t...

    Steve was quick to come to provide an estimate on a gutter installation on our detached garage. He followed up with us thoroughly throughout the whole process. Steve (and Jay) were prompt, knowledgeable, professional and very polite. The cost was exactly what was quoted. The quality of the work was great. Steve ensured I understood exactly what was done, and backed up the work with a warranty. Good job Steve!!!

    I booked an appointment and gave them my credit card information. I got no notification of when they were coming - they just showed up randomly one day and repaired the gutters (and left the broken gutters behind for me to clean up). But they never charged my card - instead I got a nasty letter from a collection agency weeks later. I paid right away of course, but I can't figure out why they wouldn't have just called me to tell me they hadn't charged my card. Recommend you go elsewhere.

    We do not accept credit cards or obtain credit card information. This would have been refused if he had offered it. We only cleaned this customer's gutters and re-attached a downspout. How would there be broken gutters left behind? The work was completed professionally April 29 and an invoice was left at the residence. There has been no complaint about the quality of work. We talked to the customer on the phone a month later on May 29 asking for payment, and the customer said he would send payment by e-transfer in the next few days. He did not pay. On September 11 we sent him to our collection agency because he had not paid for many months. We are sorry the collection agency was a bit harsh, but their job is to collect from people who avoid paying bills.

I've used you for the last six years and I really appreciate how you give a quote and do the repair so quickly and so professionally.     I had a good experience with this company. They came to my home and thoroughly explained what was needed. The serviceman was professional, courteous and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. They improved the look and functionality of my home simply by fixing my eavestrough and a few other minor repairs. I would recommend this company to my friends and family

    I have been using...

    I have been using them to repair and clean my home and rental properties for a few years. They are really good company! They always do a good job and are very professional which is why I continue to use them. A different company I used to use did not clean out the downspouts so the rain would just pour over the sides and one time flooded the basement! So I am happy with Gutter Doctor.

    I am very happy with the work that Gutter Doctor did. All my eavestroughs were leaking on the corners and falling off so I wanted to get them all replaced. James gave me the price and I agreed to get the job done because he knows a lot about these things and the price was good. Jason came to install it about 2 weeks later. Jason was very nice also. The eaves look great and do not leak anymore. I have no complaints. They are nice people and give a good warranty. Thank you.

    Good work and good price

    They did a good job fixing the problems I had at the front of the house. Every time the weather warmed up this winter we got a terrible ice spot on the walkway right in front of the front door. I feared someone was going to slip and hurt themself at some point so i found Gutter Doctor online and am happy with the work they did. They even came over the day after I called on a Sunday so that was very convienent for me.

    Great Services

    Gutter Doctor asked me for a reference on this site so here it is. I run a home maintenance service business for a few upper end clients who own several houses each and I subcontract some of the work for stuff that is beyond my scope of expertize. I have relied on Gutter Doctor for about 4 years. They really know their stuff and give me time to pay the bill. I only really ever had one issue over the last 4 years and it was fixed up fine after a phone call. It was just a mix up with the tenant telling Gutter Doctor what to do who shouldn’t have been. I think I will always use Gutter Doctor because they are good reasonable people who do good work at a good price. No complaints.

    To fix the loose fascia

    Dear Gutter Doctor, We are pleased with your company’s service! We had trouble trying to get someone to fix the loose fascia on our house at a reasonable cost. It was way up high so the wind blew it loose in the summertime storms and it has been banging against the house in the wind ever since! We got quotes for up to $550 from companies that we didn’t really trust after meeting them but your company was not only prompt and professional but was also the cheapest at just $250. Definitely referring you around town. Thankyou so much, Pam

    Unprofessional and lack of customer service

    From our experiences, Gutter Doctor is an unprofessional company that does not understand customer service, at all. We had one of their service technicians come to our house in April 2012. He said he was going to replace the fascia and re-attach the gutter. After he told us that he completed the work in less than two hours, and with no new material used, he left an invoice for the amount originally quoted for labour and materials (replacement of the fascia). When we questioned the cost and why the work had not been completed as per our conversation, he told us that "I am expensive". As I was dissatisfied by his response, I called the office again and asked to speak with the manager. I was told he was "out of town" and would return my call. On December 22/12 I received a message from the manager (J) that he would take off our gutter and fascia or send us to collections if we didn't pay. When my wife returned the call, he stated that a follow up invoice was sent (we did not receive it and they could not provide us with a copy) and that I had apparently called him in October to refuse payment - completely false, as my wife and I were in Europe on our honeymoon at the time - December 22/12 was the first contact we received since I left the request for (J) to call in April - completely unacceptable! We then again asked for a resolution to the discrepancy between what we were told the work would include and what actually occurred; (J) refused to come to our home to review the work stating, "I don't have time, I have a life." We paid the invoice realizing that we were not getting anywhere, nor any resolution with this company. We have worked with many companies and trades over the past 12 years, as we own two 100 year old homes. We pay our bills and have never experienced this before. I would not recommend this company to anybody.

    This customer was quoted $400 to fix the fascia by re-securing it to the house (not replacing the wood). In order to do so, the gutter had to be removed and re-installed. After the work was completed the customer decided that he wanted new wood put there instead of just re-securing the old wood even though there was nothing wrong with the old wood. We believe that he didn't like that it only took 2 or 2.5 hours to do the job and thought it should have taken longer for the money, so he refused to pay. Only after a long struggle and discounting the bill did he finally pay something, at which point he wrote this review.

    Shingles flashing, spruce needles and flooding

    A problem with our downspouts being blocked by spruce needles and another area of gutter made us try Gutter Doctor. Their worker Jenner was very friendly and polite. He was quick and skilful clearing the blockages and changing the slope of one stretch of gutter. Since our house is over 40 years old we decided to also have Jenner install shingles flashing, to prevent water from creeping behind the gutters and rotting the wood. Gutter Doctor did a fantastic job of this - everything neatly in place and peace of mind for us. Before the snow came we had opportunities to see that all the flashing and gutters were working perfectly in the rain.
