Racks For Cars

At first I thought the service was good. They responded quickly to questions but as soon as things changed, it got nasty. BUYER BEWARE. Their sales assistant told me that the unit would fit the truck - I later discovered that it wouldn't without cutting away part of the bed rail panel. I told them to cancel the order - this is when it started to get nasty. They said I have to pay a 5% cancellation fee. This was never brought to my attention during the sale process. They grab your money and run.

Extremely horrible customer service, never ever go back. Stuck lock (THULE Force XT L) I bought THULE Force XT L last month (20210610) from Racks For Cars Edmonton South Alberta Canada, couple of days ago I went for camping and hiking trip 1st time and passenger side lock stuck. Lock is not moving and key stuck in the lock, inside lock mechanism not engaged that's why I borrow strap from neighbor camper drove 1 hr to nearest town to buy strap. Its just wrong decision to buy THULE. and Dealer

Great service, great shop

Awesome awesome shop! Found out about them from Google and then comparison shopped on their site (SUCH a huge selection) and saw they had the bag I wanted in stock. Parking at the store was kind of a pain but the staff was super knowledgable/helpful. The web site stock was accurate (big plus and some how so rare!) and the staff pointed me to the right thing fast. The only thing I would like better is longer hours. I will be back. :)))

My go to place for car racks for years

Ordered a Thule phone case, which they didn't have in stock. Amazingly, it was personally delivered to my door only 2 days later! Impressive service for an online order. I will definitely make a purchase again!

I have no idea what the other comments on here are talking about. The service was outstanding. Extremely knowledgeable about every product out there. The best racks aren't cheap but you get what you pay for. Will definitely come back again.

Horrible, the fel...

Horrible, the fellow behind the counter was extremely rude. Refused to let me speak with the manager let alone give me his name. Feel bad for the business owner only bad reviews. Wonder if he even knows his staff treat people so horribly..

Definitely one of...

Definitely one of my WORST experiences ever as a consumer! Sold an item that was defective. When I tried to return the item, they argued with me over and over. They treated me like I was stupid and wouldn't believe anything I told them. They did not treat me with any respect and even mocked me by trying to explain how a bike rack works. They sell nice products, but BEWARE as they do not stand behind what they sell. Very poor business practices. Go ANYWHERE else for the products they sell!!

Only after my money

They were helpful until they had my money and that was where the service stopped. The manager was also unhelpful and defended the lack of service. Wanted me to spend $40 to tighten 4 bolts down. Wish I could return the product and buy from another store that would actually appreciate my business.
