Crown & Tower Pub has been a local favourite in St. Albert since 1991. A traditional Canadian pub, customers look forward to watching their favourite teams on one of 10 HD televisions while relaxing with the tasty pub fare and domestic beers on tap. Owner Troy Marchak has worked extensively in restaurants, with experience going back all the way to his childhood. “I’ve been involved in the industry since I was five years old,” Troy says. “My godfather at one point owned 37 bars and I learned a lot from him. Around 2005, I took over ownership of Crown & Tower Pub after my godfather’s friend offered it to him.”
Taking over the business was a smooth process. “My godfather and the staff in the pub were a huge help during that period,” Troy says. “Everything is a challenge in its own right, but the experienced staff made it much easier.”
