    I purchased a pro...

    I purchased a propane fireplace from Rona.I don't live in Whistler so the salesman offered to take care of the installation.The fireplace was installed with natural gas fittings even though the fuel source is propane. This caused a dangerous situation for which I had to pay additionally to correct.Obviously the wrong parts (ie parts for natural gas instead of propane) were delivered by Rona. I found out later the chimney parts were wrong also, resulting in exhaust being drawn back into the house

As we are under new management, we are not familiar with your situation, however can assure you that today we utilize 'Wett Certified' installers for all the product we sell. Further, our heating expert and sales person is Wett Certified himself, and has over 25 years experience in the business (Dave Lee).
