You know you’re on to something when customers tell you that your fish and chips taste better than they do in England (land of this wholesome, hearty dish). You really know you're on to something when visitors from the east coast of Canada - the country’s fish dish experts - add their superlative praise to the pot. But such compliments are all in a day’s work for twin sisters Rachael and Olivia Feather, who run the Leaside neighbourhood Olde Yorke Fish & Chips alongside their parents, Anne and Peter. The restaurant boasts many awards, from “The Best Fish & Chips in the City” to “The Best Family Restaurant in the City”. “The last one was in 2014 when we won the best neighbourhood restaurant in Toronto Life magazine,” says Rachael.
