This is the best place in London for Mexican - but don't get your hopes up. The food is average, and the place is nearly empty every time I've been in. I think the owners/managers know the place is in trouble because they were VERY present during our last visit, and became obnoxious with their attentiveness and attempts at entertaining us. The question is: How badly do you need a Mexican fix? If the answer is 'really bad', this will do,..I guess.
This Food was very Bland. The Chicken My girlfriend ordered must have been mock chicken. The worst I've ever had. Catfish was okay, But could've been a lot better. Drinks were great!
My experience is somewhat in between the others on here. Our waiter was not very attentive, but he wasn't rude and did show up when we needed him to. The avocado appetizer (basically a make your own guacamole) was pretty good, and a neat concept. The fajitas were quite mediocre, though, and the margarita was only so-so (and pretty weak). I'm American and have really missed Mexican food since moving here--I heard this was a good place to get a fix, but it was definitely subpar by US standards. It was probably the best Mexican I've had in Canada--but that's really not saying much. Oh, and the 2 of us shared an app and entree, so our dinner was affordable, but you could easily spend much more.
we ate at the richmond location, food was unacceptable, dishes coming to the table still frozen(wasn't nuked enough), every dish tasted the same as the next. boring.
Our meals were inedible and were sent back. Thank goodness we didn't have to pay for them. We waited for a very long time to order and then another very long time to be served. We could hardly even get a drink. There was a large group of us as it was a birthday party and no one enjoyed his food. Our waiter was pleasant and probably couldn't do anything about the food or long waits. I will never darken the door of this restaurant again! What a waste of money! Including the $5 parking fee.
