Wharncliffe Walk In Clinic

If you’re not taking patients past 6:00 then put that in your voicemail, you’re not open till 8:00 and you’re simply just lazy, waiting room was completely empty, and was denied care.

Please never ever visit this clinic. The timings of Wharncliff clinic are until 8 PM and I reached the clinic at 6:15 PM to see the doctor. I waited there for about half and hour and then my name was called by the lady at the reception. To my surprise, she said that the doctor changed her mind and she wont be able to accept any patients now. Name of the doctor was Dr. Semen. I had to come back home without seeing a doctor. Is Patients time is not important?? Why wrong timings are mentioned?????

Went two times in one month. First time they diagnosed me wrong and said I didn’t have strep. Went to a new doctor and they tested it and I did. Second time I had a rash appear all over my body. She told me I was allergic to polyester in clothes.. turns out it’s a psoarises condition caused from the strep I got.

Never go here! Girlfriend went in during exam season as here finger had become infected and it was impairing her ability to write. In the past, doctors at walk in clinics were able to deal with her infection and relieve the swelling. She had no intention of trying to get a note to accommodate her exam, as a lot of students that were there were. She waited for 3 hours trying to study for her exam she had the next day only for the doctor to do nothing and show absolutely no empathy to for her

Honestly i wish i could give this doctor a -2/5 but i cant so it sucks. But one of the older lady doctors at this walk in clinic was the worst person i have ever come across in my life, my friend had gone to her in need of help as she is a doctor but this lady had the audacity to walk out on her without saying anything and not even helping, would not reccomend the worst clinic ever if you are ever in need of medicine for your cold you would rather just diagnose yourself of webmd.

WORST CLINIC. AVOID!

Absolutely terrible. Worst walk-in clinic I have ever been to- actually the worst health care service I have ever been to. Had the rudest doctor possible. Waited for 3 hours, then the woman doctor walked in obviously trying to make it as quick as possible. She rudely stated that she couldn't look at my eye and then walked out of the room. What kind of service is that? How is a medical clinic unable to look at injured eyes? Whatever your situation AVOID THIS CLINIC AT ALL COSTS. Just horrible...

Went in for help with severe anxiety and depression. Dr told me to cheer up and be more motivated to be happy. As anyone with depression knows, this is impossible. Im sure this Dr is fine for a noté when you're sick from work but wouldn't recommend any legitimate medical treatment from him especially concerning mental health.

Doctor basically wanted me in and out as quick as possible. Went in for a sinus infection and he told me it couldn't be without even looking in my nose. All he did was stand about 3 feet away and shine his light towards my mouth. Told him I bought Flonase from Shoppers and he basically called me a liar saying it wasn't possible, even though I assured him I did. He then asked if I had benefits, I told him I do, he then wrote me a prescription for a nasal spray that isn't covered.

Avoid This one

AVOID this clinic specially if you don't have insurance, because they will use any opportunity to rip you off. I believe the problem is with the administration not employees. In fact Dr. Mohammad who visited me was nice. But each doctor has a short time for each patient's visit, so you don't really have enough time to talk about your problem. Today they called me and said we have the results of your blood test and doctor wants you to come for a visit. I went there and paid 80$ from pocket. When talked to the doctor he said that he didn't want to see me today because he needed the results of my other test too. I told them you should call me if MY DOCTOR wants to see me, not just when any other doctor see the test results and find some problem. They just said this is the way we do it i.e this is the way we make money.

Convenient and Courteous

I have actually found this walk-In-Clinic to be very convenient and the Doctors there were very pleasant. The hours on weekends and evenings are perfect for me since I work long hours during the week and have no time to schedule an appointment. I have been to the clinic several times for severe poison ivy, and also an allergic reaction to a bee sting. Each time they have treated the problem and given any necesary perscriptions and advice and got me on my way in a friendly and efficient manner. To the first poster-If the first clinic gave you antibiotics and it had not worked, then what you had must not have been treatable with antibiotics, and I expect that's why they did not give you a perscription.

Absolute worst walk in clinic

Never have I been treated so poorly before from anyone. I can't remember the doctors name that I saw but when I get it I'll post it here. I went in to the clinic because I have strep throat and the ignorant doctor spent all of 2 minutes with me (not concerned for my well being in the SLIGHTEST) and told me to leave and drink some water. I was at another walk in clinic a week back and was treated extremely well, got 2 prescriptions for my throat (and I have no antibiotics left, that's why I went to this clinic) He told me to stop using q-tips to clean my ears (AND I DON'T USE THEM AT ALL) and that that is why my ears were burning along with my sore throat. I told him I'm having serious trouble swallowing and its very painful and he told me to go get some rest. The tone in which he spoke was awful and you could tell he wanted me in and out as fast as he could. Unbelievable. I do not recommend going here if it was the last place on earth. I don't have a single good thing to say about this place.
