Love this restaurant! a bit pricey but lots of good tasting food. The only issue I have is after ordering the Penne a la vodka and loving it for lunch, we tried ordering for lunch again (take out) but we were told they were too busy during the lunch hour and we could order at around 2PM. Who wants to wait until 2 to eat their lunch. Very disappointing...I told the waitress they should put this information on their menu. I have never had a restaurant tell me they are too busy to make a dish they have on their menu.
Although the price per plate was a bit much for an ex-truck stop, we were really happy with the quantity and it tasted great. We cleaned our plates! They didn't have a kids menu, but they did have high chairs. I think we will return for breakfast next time. They dressed up the place with crisp white table cloths and fancy folded cloth napkins and played blues jazz.

I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast and it was very good. The THREE eggs not TWO were cooked as I ordered over easy and the steak (New York Strip Loin , not Ribeye like other places I have gone) was very juicy and tender.The homefries potatoes were full of flavour and cooked to perfection on the grill ( not deep fried like other places).Coffee was included with the meal and I left very satisfied and the price was just right.I have found my new breakfast place and I will definitely bring the family.I will also be trying their lunch specials including their homemade burgers which is a big hit by the customers.
