I had pepper cress and chevre as an appetizer, it was presented very well and was followed by the cornish hen entree which was similarly well-presented and delicious. I tried the panna cotta for the first time and it was well-presented though I don't offer an opinion on the taste. It was mildly sweet and quite light though, which was exactly what I was looking for.
My girlfriend had the spring garden seedling salad which was plentiful with premium components. Her entree was grouper, a white fish, with a few strands of leek as a side. It was very tasty, but very light leaving her grateful to have ordered the salad. She had creme brulee as a dessert, which had a citrus infusion and was the best creme brulee she'd ever had.
The server was very attentive and helpful, though did linger at another table partaking in a loud conversation which distracted me from my meal and over which I had to raise my voice to be heard across the table by my girlfriend.
The ambiance is quite nice. Very relaxing, except if you're sitting by the many windows, in case of which the constant passing of cabs in the hotel drop-off area can become distracting as their lights shine through the window.
The total bill was $123 + tip = $140. This was a large bill given neither of us had drinks, but it was worth it. The restaurant provided great service and novel foods that neither of us had tried before.
OK, typical "nice" Hilton hotel restaurant. Atmosphere was not the best but ok. I was very impressed with the food. Excellent flavour experience. Very well prepared and presented.
