I love Canadian Tire and yes it can be a pain looking for a product but most stores operate this way. It is a self serve business model which has been in effect for years since I worked for one of their stores back in the 1970's.

Out of all the experiences I've had at various snowboard shops in Alberta, this is my favorite. I bought a pair of bindings last year that broke on me twice, which they sent back to the manufactuer but they saw how fustrated I was and the time lost...they offered to exchange mine to another brand of binding while they deal with all the backend issues. They don't mind spending an hour with you trying on boots and making sure it fits properly. They have a wide selection of equipment and clothing that you don't find in mainstream shops. This place rocks, instead of walking 3 mins to my local snowboading store - Unlimited is worth me driving out for an hour just for them!Lire plus
