Well the other guest must have visited on a bad nite because I've been to the Granary and absolutely loved my meal and so did the others with me. The service was excellent...upon our arrival we were seated in the bar until our table was ready and after that we were well looked after without any pressure to hurry - even tho the place was packed. Our party dined at this restaurant on a Friday evening. We were happy to see a big lineup at the door, but a bit worried when we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We ended up getting in about 20 minutes later so things started out good. On to the review. Food - You will notice that we chose the top ranking for food. It doesn't take a lot to impress me or my brother, but it takes much more to impress our ladies. Whenever we eat out, I usually go for the recommended meal. In this case, our server recommended the prime rib. A previous reviewer described it as good, well let me tell you it was spectacular. My brother ordered a full rack of Louisianna ribs - it was the biggest rack I've ever seen - he couldn't finish it. My wife ordered a Filet Mignon and a lobster tail while my sister-in-law ordered a 1/4 chicken. My wife described her meal as better than ... well let's just say I can't repeat it on this public board! My sister in law thought her chicken was "Good enough" but again - unrealistic expectations is her middle name. The only downfall I would say was how long the food took (about 45 minutes) - but it was very busy and the quality of the food more than made up for this. Service - Our server was Lane. We actually felt like we should have her sit down and join us to eat. Although it did take a fairly long time for our meal (see above) - it was definitely worth it and Lane made the wait seem like a breeze. Atmosphere - It was actually pretty loud because of how busy it was. I could hear some music playing very quietly - they may want to turn this up. The lighting was nice - there was a fireplace hanging on a wall - obviously not a real one, but it looked pretty good anyways. Overall, we were very comfortable. We live in Prince Albert so we don't expect a franchise of this restaurant to open here anytime soon, but if it does, you will have four very loyal customers. Lire plus

10 of us arrived with no reservation. They didn't have a table in the restaurant area for us but quickly put together tables in the bar for us. Service was very quick for drinks and taking orders. A bit slow for serving food but we were all visting so that was okay. Everyone loved their food except my parents who prefer simpler food. I had the thai steak salad and was surprised to find it came with a full steak on top of the salad rather than the strips I was expecting. The salad was excellent. Lire plus
